Does your SCP learn about his power himself, or does another staff member piece it together and confront/terminate/contain you? I'd make the ending a bit more serious though, assuming I'll even end up using this idea.Įh, if your character did turn out to be an SCP, I think there'd have to be multiple things that would need to be addressed in regards to an ending. And what if the Foundation would capture you at the end of the game and start investigating the possibility of classifying you as an SCP? You somehow managed to survive a huge containment breach and attacks from several hostile SCPs without any equipment and without knowing almost anything about the facility or the SCPs after all. Both of them need key cards to be accessed, but you need a level 5 key card to get in to the main control room, which is a bit more difficult to get than the level 2 one.Īs I mentioned in the blog, I've also been thinking of making it possible for the player to use Recall Protocol █ █ -█ █ █ -█ to contain 106. You'll also have to use some levers and buttons in the electrical room and the main control room of the facility. What I can say though, is that you'll have to contain a certain SCP before you can get out. It's kind of hard for me to take part in this conversation without spoiling what I have in mind for the ending. I'm certain that several objectives have already been considered and in the process of being planned and implemented, these Idea's are just for consideration and discussion. However they would need to figure out these objectives by them self's such as talking to a survivor or reading sheets etc. I think that these objectives should help keep the player occupied and give them a goal to work towards. (Really minor thing though, mainly if there is a Mobile Task Force or security force guarding the surface exit, and you are a Class-D!). Avoid recapture or termination by the SCP foundation upon escape. (Make's life easier when not being chased by several SCP's)Ĥ. Attempt to contain several of the hostile SCP's. Figure out what caused the site to be breached. (Weather it be from the main exits or via other SCP related exits (Hint, Blue Key)).ġ. Avoid all hostile SCP's or surviving security personal.ĥ. Acquire the site coordinator's access card. Restore power to the site (Or at least to the exit lifts/doors)Ģ. With this in mind the player will have several primary objectives.ġ. This ensures the player must remain on their guard to avoid and evade 173. Leaving the player trapped with no equipment nor idea of where to go or what to do.Īlso it is possible that SCP-173 is hunting the player in an attempt to kill him, for whatever reason's however is currently unknown. Now as said by the person on the intercom, (who I will refer to as the site coordinator for now) he says that the facility is going into lock down, this means that the main exits as well as certain area's of the site are now locked and will require higher level authorization to open. However I want to discuss exactly what the player's objective will be during his escape/survival attempt. As we all know, the main objective of the player is to escape from the site alive, also the player can attempt to figure out exactly what happened and who or what may have caused the containment breach.
